About Us
Mission
YNPN Denver’s mission is to develop and connect nonprofit leaders who collectively strengthen the greater Denver community. The Young Nonprofit Professionals Network (YNPN) activates emerging leaders by connecting them with resources, people, and ideas.
History
Young Nonprofit Professionals Network (YNPN) movement is a grassroots effort to engage and support future nonprofit leaders through professional development, networking, and social opportunities. The National YNPN Association was founded in 1997 in San Francisco and expanded soon thereafter to four other locations, including Denver. YNPN Denver was established in 2002 as one of the five founding chapters of the YNPN movement. Since that time the national YNPN network has grown to over 42 chapters throughout the United States representing more than 30,000 members.
Our activities focus on attracting talented people to the sector, helping new and emerging nonprofit professionals connect with their peers, providing programs that help develop current and emerging nonprofit leaders, and advocating for their interest. YNPN Denver is committed to making the nonprofit sector a sustainable, vibrant, and viable place to work. YNPN Denver is a thriving community of over 100 members.
